FAQ’s

When can I expect my delivery?

We aim to process all orders within three working days. However please do get in touch prior to checkout if you’re in need of a speedier delivery, the answer will probably be yes.

How will be order be sent?

All orders are sent via Royal Mail Track 24.

Can I track my order?

Absolutely! Once your order is processed we shall send you across a confirmation email which will include tracking details.

Can I request a particular delivery date? i.e when posting directly as a birthday or Christmas gift

In the event that you are placing an order to be sent as a gift, please let us know the latest date you would like the parcel to arrive. As we may send the parcel early to ensure delivery arrives ahead (rather than behind) schedule especially during busy periods.

We are unable to arrange for parcels to be delivered on weekends or Mondays.

We are unfortunately unable to assume responsibility for delays that occur once the parcel is with Royal Mail or any courier.

Can I collect?

You are of course welcome to collect your order from us free of charge, either from our production unit or one of our farmers markets. We will send you an email to confirm when your order is ready to collect.

I’m sending my order directly as a gift, can I include a message?

Of course! At checkout please just write out your message & we shall include it as a handwritten note. And don’t worry, I have nice handwriting.

How should I store my charcuterie?

The majority of our products are able to be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, please just check the instructions on the back of the pack.

How long will my charcuterie last?

All our products are packaged with at least a 10 week best before date.

There’s a bit of mould on the meat… is this ok?

In short, yes. All our products are hung for a period of maturation in our climate controlled drying room. The growth of mould is part of this natural process. Like in cheese making, the mould is flavour developing & protects the product. These moulds will mainly present as white in colour, however blue/green blooms are also harmless. The mould can be removed easily with a dry cloth or can be washed off with some white wine.

If the product is still within it’s best before date & vacuum sealed, there shouldn’t be an issue. But please do get in touch (with pictures) if you have any questions.

I have another question…

No worries! Just drop me an email at tara@sundaycharcuterie.co.uk & I will get back to you as soon as I can.
